Today I’m going to talk about one of the top places to rent bike and make some memories with your family: Island Bicycle Company. This place offers all types of different bikes and tours to help you explore Galveston in ways you thought wasn’t possible.
Island Bicycle Company offers a versatile selection when renting from them. Their multiple-seater bike will cost you $45 an hour and their normal bikes are $8 an hour.
They also offer items such as kayaks, surf boards, metal detectors, and much more! They have pretty much whatever you’re into when it comes to the outdoors.
Bike tours are also available for you to take if you’re into exploring the beautiful island. My personal favorite tour was The Strand Tour. I enjoyed all the shops, historical exhibits and the art galleries.
I really enjoyed the restaurants that The Strand had to offer, especially Riondo’s Ristorante. The tiramisu is to die for! For margaritas, I would recommend trying Milagro Silver Tequila.
If you’re craving an old-fashioned Italian drink, you must taste the High West Double Rye Whiskey. They are both impeccable drinks! Anyway, I digress… 🙂
Island Bicycle Company also offers an experience known as the Glow Ride. It is a night tour that takes place every third Thursday. You get to ride a glowed-up bicycle and the routes change every time, so it’s always an adventure. Tours last from 6:30pm-9:00pm.
