The two companies that I am about to share with you are in my opinion one of the safest and most fun places to learn how to ride the waves. They are Ohana Surf & Skate and C-Sick (HA! catchy name) Surfing Lessons.

Ohana Surf & Skate
Ohana Surf & Skate provides a variety of lessons. Semiprivate lessons are $40 for the first hour and $60 for two hours. Lessons for four or more will cost you $55 per person for two hours. If catching big waves just isn’t your thing, then for only $55, you can rent a paddleboard for the entire day! Ohana also has a shop where you can buy some of the latest trending surfing including surfboards and wetsuits. Looking for a fun activity for your child this summer? How about signing them up for one of Ohana’s Surf Camps! Camps are available for children ages six to 17 and run throughout the summer from 9:00 am to 12:00pm.

C-Sick Surfing Lessons which happens to be Galveston’s oldest professional surf school, is another wonderful place for all surfing enthusiasts. Two-hour lessons will cost you $50. Hoping to make catching your first wave a lifetime memory? C-Sick has a photographer that captures those pure moments of your surfing experience! When my family visited, the photographer took some of the most beautiful pictures I had ever seen. We got more bang for our buck, the cost was only $20 for fifty amazing photos. So, if you are looking for an experience that you can remember for a lifetime, C-Sick Surfing Lessons is the place to be!
