The Best Italian Restaurant in Galveston, TX
After a fun day at the beach or a long stroll through Galveston’s museum district, maybe you are craving some Italian food. My family’s all-time favorite Italian restaurant is Mario’s Seawall Italian Restaurant. It sits on the Seawall on 7th street. I love sitting on the patio listening to the ocean with a nice glass of Italian wine. Not only is the establishment family friendly, it raves amazing Italian food for all pallets and more importantly, all at very reasonable pricing.
For starters, you can’t go wrong with the lobster man n cheese or the scrumptious calamari. My teens love the spinach dip and lobster ravioli. And of course you can’t go to an Italian restaurant and not have pizza. We love their deep dish pizzas. It’s “doughy” if you know what I mean. The only way I can describe it is perfectly cooked pizza! Just be sure to order right away because they take longer to cook. Well worth the wait might I add. And of course don’t forget dessert! They have homemade Italian desserts from cannoli’s to gelato. My family’s personal favorite is the double fudge chocolate cake. If you love chocolate, you can’t go wrong there.
So if you want pizza or the full fledge Italian meal experience in Galveston, GO TO MARIO’S! You won’t be disappointed with the food, ambiance or service!
